RKT Series

The RKT series is our premium troffer and striplight retrofit kit. It’s magnetic backing makes it veryeasy-to-install. The LED strips and the driver are both magnetic backed, with a screw mount option for added security. The components attach to the fixture body and become a physical and thermal part of the fixture, truly retrofitting the fixture into an LED luminaire. The magnets that we use are highly thermally conductive, which makes the entire fixture a heat sink, wicking heat from the led strips and drivers, making them operate at very low temperatures (just over 40C). This makes the RKT series kit incredibly efficient and lifespan is extremely long.

The RKT series has 3 power settings selectable by a switch on the driver (20W, 30W, and 40W) and 3 CCT color temps selectable by dip switch on the strips (3000K, 4000K and 5000K). The TKT driver is also 4-way dimming, so no matter what type of dimming is in your facility, the RKT will work for you. The RKT driver is double isolated for flicker-free operation, has extremely high power factor (up to 99.9PF) extremely low RF emmissions make these the kit for use in sensitive environments such as data centers, hospital imaging rooms, call centers, recording studios, etc. These kits are perfect for retrofitting 1’ x 4’, 2’ x 4’, and 2’ x 2’ fixtures, as well as 4’ x 8’ linear strip lights, as well as many other applications.

The RKS main feature is it’s extreme efficiency. We use 210 lumen/watt 150mA chips that provide >190 lm/w delivered from the fixture! No other retrofit kit even comes close. We only drive these 150mA chips at 40-50mA , which creates the extreme efficiency and extremely long life as well. With this extreme efficiency, our RKS kits replace the light of a 4-lamp fluorescent or led-tube troffer or striplight while consuming only 25 watts! The RKS kit creates the fastest ROI, highest utility rebates, and largest long-term savings of any retrofit on planet earth. Of course it costs more to build a kit with these extreme efficiencies, but the difference in cost is returned in electric savings in just a few months.
